Feedio is designed to minimise data collection. We do not collect personal data (such as name, email, or phone number) unless you optionally sign in to an account for sync.

Data stored on your device (local only, not sent to our servers unless you use optional account sync):

• Subscriptions: feed URLs and source metadata (titles, icons) you add.

• Preferences: language choice, display settings, and app configuration.

• Usage data: your likes, saves, "watch later" list, collections, watch history, and playback progress. This data stays on your device by default.

If we offer optional account/sync in the future: we may store the above data on our servers to sync across your devices. Account identifiers (e.g. email or anonymous ID) would be processed only for that purpose.

We use the information described above solely to provide and improve the app: to display your subscriptions and feed content, to remember your preferences, and (if you use sync) to sync your data across devices. We do not use your data for advertising or to build profiles for third-party marketing.

Data stored only on your device is controlled by you and your device settings (including uninstall). If we store data on our servers (e.g. when you use optional sync), we retain it for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with law and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

Feed content: When you subscribe to a feed, the app requests content from that feed URL. Those requests are made from your device to the feed provider; we do not proxy or log the content of your subscriptions.

Platform services: The app may use Apple and Google platform services (e.g. for distribution, in-app updates, or optional sign-in). Their privacy policies apply to those services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. We may disclose data only if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

Feedio is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

You can control data stored on your device by changing app settings or uninstalling the app. You may also have the right, depending on your jurisdiction, to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If we process data on servers outside your country, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) where required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, for material changes, we will provide additional notice (e.g. in the app or by email if you have an account). Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
